Our practice
Care begins
with connection.
You are more than a set of symptoms. At Marenova Wellness, we make room for your whole story — and build a plan around the person you are, not just a diagnosis.
As a solo-provider practice focused on adults and older adults, we offer continuity, thoughtful listening, and evidence-based psychiatric care. You work directly with one provider who gets to know what matters to you.

Our philosophy
Looking beyond the symptoms.
Thoughtful care connects the dots. We bring together your mental health, physical health, and everyday experiences to understand what may be contributing — and what could help.
Your story comes first
A calm, judgment-free space to discuss what you are experiencing. Your values, culture, strengths, and goals belong in every care decision.
Body and mind, together
Mood and focus do not exist in isolation. We consider sleep, physical health, pain, daily routines, and medications alongside your emotional wellbeing.
Care that stays connected
With your permission, we coordinate with your primary care clinician, therapists, and other specialists to support a clear, consistent treatment plan.

One dedicated provider. A consistent partner in your care.
Appointment availability and eligibility depend on your physical location, clinical needs, and applicable licensing requirements.

Kizito L. Mbaekwe
MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Clinical Director · Marenova Wellness
Kizito is an ANCC board-certified psychiatric–mental health nurse practitioner who brings a calm, whole-person perspective to care. His work is grounded in evidence, respect for your lived experience, and the belief that a strong therapeutic relationship starts with feeling heard.
He brings more than 10 years of clinical experience across critical care nursing, cardiovascular services, interventional radiology, and diagnostic imaging. Caring for medically complex adults and older adults has shaped his attention to physical health, medication safety, and the ways emotional and medical needs overlap.
Kizito earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University, completing 620 supervised psychiatric clinical hours in assessment, diagnostic reasoning, treatment planning, and safety assessment.
At Marenova, his approach to adult and older-adult care is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and collaborative. Together, you consider symptoms, sleep, medical conditions, existing medications, and practical goals. Loved ones and other healthcare professionals can be included when appropriate and with your permission.
